JOB Duties:
Construct, erect and repair structures and fixtures, made primarily of wood, in a variety of projects such as bridges, highways, buildings and utility plants.
Working environments can be very diverse as some work with rough framing and others work with detailed trim and depending on the job the work could be indoors or outdoors.
Duties range from installing cabinets, countertops, or interior doors, along with working with a variety of materials including wood, metal, or drywall to build stairways, trim work, partitions, or even bridge supports.
